HOLLOWAY, Billie Maxine – Of Flint, age 91, died Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor James Bell officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to First Baptist Church of Fenton or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Billie was born in Lepanto, Arkansas on October 7, 1925, the daughter of David and Alice (Pruett)Gibson.
Surviving are two children, Bill and wife Nancy, Teresa and husband Richard Carroll, Jr.;
three grandchildren, Jeff (Dana), Kim (Joe) Tate and Alexander;
five great-grandchildren, Reagan, Daryn, Hayden, Delaney and Lawson;
two brothers, Jim (Joni) Gibson and Marion “Peewee” (Jackie) Gibson;
three sisters, Judy (John) Pidgeon, Jean Ball and Jerry Hutton;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James and daughter, Linda Holloway.
