PERKINS, Sheryl Ann – of Flint, Michigan, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, Michigan, 48423. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 3-7 PM at the funeral home and again on Monday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1 PM.
Sheryl was born in Flint, Michigan, on February 23, 1969, the daughter of the late Arthur and Ruth (Hayward) DeMott. She married Larry Perkins on February 24, 1990, in Flint, Michigan. Sheryl had a big heart and a spirited personality. She loved her dogs, babies, and spending time with her family watching movies together. She loved Coca-Cola and had an entire room dedicated to memorabilia. Sheryl was known for her fiery spirit and stubborn streak, qualities that made her unforgettable to those who loved her. One of her greatest joys was watching SpongeBob SquarePants with her great-grandson, Elijah.
Sheryl is survived by her loving husband, Larry; daughter, Joline Martin; granddaughter, Ericca Perkins; step granddaughter, Destiny Hoffman; great grandson, Elijah DeMott; sister, Holly DeMott; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Marie Perkins; stepson, Larry “Andy” Perkins; and her mother-in-law, Sylvia Perkins.
