Gaile F. Passmore
The sweetest angel on earth passed away at the age of 88 on December 10, 2025, at Memorial Healthcare Long-Term Care (LTC) in Owosso.
Gaile was born December 5, 1937, in Owosso, the daughter of Arnold and Pauline (Zimmerman) Passmore. She graduated from Owosso High School with the class of 1957.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she volunteered for several years and took great pride in the work she did there.
Gaile found joy in the simple things- arts and crafts, telling stories, animals, listening to Elvis, chocolate, and spending time with the family and friends she loved so dearly. She had a true heart of gold and never saw the bad in anyone - only the good. She selflessly helped anyone in need. Her kindness touched countless lives.
Gaile is survived by her brother, Gary (Sheila) Passmore, as well as many nieces and nephews who she adored.
She was predeceased by her father, Arnold Passmore; mother, Pauline Passmore; and sister, Marilyn Bates.
Her family would like to extend a special thank-you for the years of excellent and loving care provided by Memorial Healthcare LTC Unit. They treated her like family, and she felt so loved. The family would also like to thank Memorial Healthcare Hospice for making her last week on earth comfortable.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Nelson-House Funeral Home, with Reverend Sarah Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions are suggested in Gaile’s name to Memorial Healthcare LTC Unit or to Memorial Healthcare Hospice.
