May, Erin T. (Curran)…. of Davison, age 64 died with her loving family by her side on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Corwell Health University Hospital-Beaumont Hospital.
A memorial mass will be held 1pm Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Georges Bidzogo officiating. The mass will be livestreamed for anyone living out of state.
Visitation will take place from 2-8pm Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed at 7pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Memorial visitation will take place at 12 Saturday at the church until the time of service at 1pm. Cremation has taken place.
Erin was born August 4, 1961, in Flint, Michigan, to Cass and Paige Curran. She grew up in Flint and attended St. Mary’s School in Flint and graduated from Luke M. Powers in 1979. She attended Ferris State University before joining the staff at Flint Osteopathic Hospital. She later joined the staff at FOH and Genesys Hospitals where she spent 26 years as a radiology technician. She will be missed by so many coworkers.
Erin was a sweet, loving, and caring individual that was selfless in her actions so others would feel like better human beings. She had the gift of “gab” and made many a stranger feel comfortable. Erin was a wedding planner, party planner, vacation planner, birthday party planner…planner period! She enjoyed pulling all of her family together to make fun and memorable moments, especially during the Sis/Bro vacations. Erin always had her bag of tricks for any occasion.
She loved attending soccer games, plays, concerts, and group get-togethers with her friends and her family, especially those with her granddaughter Colette. Lastly, Mario Andretti would be proud of her breaking his speed records as she drove her siblings to the casino to hit the slots, one of her favorite pastimes:)
Erin leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 41 years, James, son Jerrod, daughter Kirsten, daughter Morgan, and granddaughter Colette. Her siblings Tamara Hiney, Michele (Mike) Kutchey, Cass (Sheila) Curran, Bethany Meek, Timothy Curran, Shawn Waisanen, Chrysa Curran-Cronley, Paishann (Joseph) Curtis, Eric (Wendy) Curran, Cavan (Katie) Curran. She was a loving aunt to several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Cass and Paige Curran, Brother-in-laws Dave Hiney, Danny Meek, and Gregory Waisanen, and her niece Alayna Curran.
