BALL, Frances L. – Of Grand Blanc, age 91, died Monday, December 29, 2025 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 12 Noon Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Louden County Memorial Gardens in Lenoir City, Tennessee.
Frances was born in Gowanda, New York on September 12, 1934, the daughter of the late Jerome and Doris (Pringle) Meagher. On November 13, 1954, she married Dale Ball at St. Christopher Church in Bridgeport, Michigan and he preceded her in death on May 12, 2011. Frances was employed as a telephone operator. She enjoyed crocheting and painting and was a very talented artist/painter.
Surviving are children, Louise (John) Chastain, Keith (Kim) Ball, Barb (Pete) Moolhuizen, Mary Beth (Brian) Scully, Brenda Fritzler, and Julie (Michael) Davitt;
13 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren;
and brother, Joe (Carol) Meagher.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Fred Meagher and son-in-law, Wade.
