Margaret “Ann” (O’Leary) Coriasso, age 93, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2021, surrounded by her loving family in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Ann had suffered from Alzheimer’s for many years.

A devoted wife of 68 years, mother of 5, grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 11, Ann was a fun loving, family-oriented matriarch who instilled in her family her strong faith in the Lord, and led through example with her care for others, generosity, kindness, humility, and love. She cherished her family and welcomed everyone into her home. Her motto was that “there is always room for one more”. Born on July 25, 1928, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, her family moved to Washington D.C. when she was a young girl. She met her future husband, Louis Coriasso while working at the Naval Medical Research Institute in Bethesda, Maryland in 1948. They were married on March 19, 1950, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Washington D.C.

Ann was a dedicated volunteer to many organizations in her community. She was a past president of the Genesee County Medical Auxiliary and an active volunteer with the Genesee County Mental Health Foundation and Holy Family Church. Ann served as president of the Warwick Hills Women’s Golf Association and was named “Volunteer of the Year” in 1994 for her years of dedicated support to the Buick Open.

She is survived by her children: Kathy (Tom) Gould; Lou (Stacy) Coriasso; Dr. Ron (Kathy) Coriasso; Julie (Greg) Swoyer; and Dr. Dave (Linda) Coriasso; Grandchildren: Laura (Matt) Hurd, Dr. Jennifer Gould, Kaila Coriasso, Caitlin (Cain) Foster, Sheila (Josh) VanSickle, Ronald Coriasso Jr., Michael (Lillianna) Coriasso, Joseph Coriasso, Jacqueline (Ian) McAuley, Hannah (Simon) Wigley, Eric Swoyer, Dr. Christopher (Anya) Coriasso, Dr. Nicholas (Katy) Coriasso, Carolyn (Mike) Bosanac, and Kevin Coriasso; Great-grandchildren: Benjamin Hurd, Ronnie Traver, Rosalee Foster, Lilian VanSickle, Ava VanSickle, Elliot VanSickle, Declan Coriasso, Luca Coriasso, Eleanor Wigley, Hayden McAuley, and Cooper Coriasso. Ann is survived by her brother, M. Joseph O’Leary and sister-in-law, Marlene (Coriasso) Smith. She leaves many loved and cherished nieces, nephews, and friends. Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Louis Coriasso; grandson, Kyle Swoyer; parents: Martin and Agnes (Burke) O’Leary; brother, Richard O’Leary and sisters, Dr. M. Jean (O’Leary) Matthews and Rita (O’Leary) Gutheinz.

The Coriasso family would like to express thanks and gratitude to Heather and Shawn Kiesler, Mel Jordan Nord and Hannah Zeh for the love and exceptional care that they gave. A special thank you to Father Joseph Krupp, Kim, and the team at Absolute Hospice and Caring from the Heart Home Care Agency.

Visitation will be at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, between 4:00pm 8:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Holy Family Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc at 10:00am. Inurnment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly Michigan at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Family Building Fund.
