David Henry Schlosser of Mt. Morris, age 65, passed away August 29, 2014 at his residence. Service will be held Friday, 12 noon Sept. 5 at St. Pius X Catholic Church G-3139 Hogarth Ave., Flint, MI 48532. Family will receive vistiors at 11 am Friday until time of service. Fr. Robert Copeland officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. David was born in Petoskey, MI on June 21, 1949 the son of Henry and Vivian Schlosser. David served as a fireman in the United States Naval Reserve and was awarded with a National Defense Service Metal. He retired from the MTA after 23 of service. He also worked for General Motors Fisher Body for 18 years. David was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, a member of the Christian Mens Group and he shared the word through his Christian cartoons. David is survived by his wife Paulette M. (Barrow) Schlosser; sons; Darin (Samantha), Jeremy (Jamie), and Michael (Alycia); 6 grandchilden, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. David was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Jill, 1 sister and 1 brother. Contributions can be made to the Schlosser family.
