CROSS, Elaine Louise (Harrell) – of Davison, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Elaine was born on February 9, 1948, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Earl and Ruth (Doty) Harrell. Elaine graduated from Kearsley High School in 1966. On March 24, 1990, she married Ronald Cross in Flint, where together they built a loving life and home. Elaine retired from Dort Federal Credit Union after many years of dedicated service. She found joy in spending time up north, enjoying the outdoors, tending to her garden, and keeping a beautifully clean home. Above all else, Elaine cherished time with her family and friends—whether gathered together in person or sharing long conversations over the phone.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Denice (Ismael “Johnny”) Martinez; grandchildren, Alex Martinez, Eli Martinez, Dalton McClard, Morgan Sifford, and Cole McClard; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Kathy DeFord, Sandy Meetze, Earlene (Richard) LaPland, Frances Hoard, and Ed (Terry) Chiles; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by son, Greg McClard; brother, Chris Wellington; and her husband, Ronald Cross.
