Thomas Law Sr. of Brooksville, Florida, and Lapeer, Michigan, died peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, April 10, 2026.
He was born December 17, 1945, in Owosso to Marvin and Evelyn Law. He worked 32 years for General Motors before retiring in 1996. Since then, he enjoyed golfing, shooting the bull, and spending time with his friends and family.
He leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Marlene “Tootie” Law, sons Dan, Shawn (Kelly), Tom Jr. (Christi) and Jamie (Morgan) Law, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jimmy and Terry Law, sisters Bonnie Hoot and Loraine Law, as well as Julia Law, mother of Shawn, Tommy, and Jamie.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Nelson-House Funeral Home. Thomas will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 am until the time of service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to The Shiawassee Firefighter’s Memorial.
