Sahaydak, Patricia A. - of Mt. Morris, age 89, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 22, 2026, at her home. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Patricia's life will be held at 12PM on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Mt. Morris Community Church - 7245 N. Center Rd, Mt. Morris. The family will receive visitors on Saturday from 11AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Carriage Town Mission.
Patricia was born on November 16, 1936, in Fargo, North Dakota, and grew up in Embden. A devoted member of the Mt. Morris Community Church for over 50 years, Patricia was the true spirit of faith and community. Her unwavering love for Jesus guided her every action, as she had a remarkable gift for helping others in any way she could. Patricia worked tirelessly and retired as a supervisor from Kenyon Specialties in 2001. Patricia's passions were as colorful as her spirit. She was an avid Michigan football fan, a talented cake decorator, and an enthusiastic lover of music, especially classic rock. Patricia carried with her a zest for life that inspired everyone around her.
Surviving are: Daughters: Tamra Wilson and Dionne Griffin; Grandchildren: Thomas (Brooke) Griffin, Shelby (Zach) Garcia, Hannah Griffin; Great grandchildren: Kayleigh Voodre and Walker Garcia; Sisters: Janice Stevenson, Rose Thompson, Marion Manthei; She was blessed with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in passing by her Son, Robert Sahaydak; Sisters: Lois Hoffke, Leona Christianson and Dorothy Zeimetz.
