MARTICIO, Kay Isabel of Grand Blanc, age 87, passed away on July 10, 2026.
Funeral service will be held 11am on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Kirkridge Presbyterian Church, 8070 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI 48439.
Celebrant Dr. Julianne Pricinsky.
Visitation will be held from 1-7pm on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint and 10am on Monday at the church.
A private burial at Meadowview Memorial Gardens.
Kay was born in Flint, Michigan on November 29, 1938, to the late Archie Roy Blosser and Agnes (Blair) Blosser. She married Inocencio (Ino) Marticio in San Diego, CA on March 23, 1960. Her parents, husband, and brother, Jack Blosser, preceded her in death.
Kay attended Flint Central High School. She was proud of and loved celebrating her Scottish heritage. She was kind and generous, volunteering for the Crim Festival of Races and the Michigan Alzheimer's Association. Kay was known for her adventurous personality and completed many Crim Road Races as a walker, frequently placing in her age group. In addition, she loved ice skating, roller skating, roller blading, and cross-country skiing. She learned snowshoeing and downhill skiing in Colorado.
As much as she enjoyed all these activities, none brought her as much joy as spending time with her beloved grandchildren: Meagan Sharrow, Kasey Parks, Kyle (Lydia) Parks, and Kerrigan Parks and her great grandchildren: Camden and Charlotte Parks.
Kay is survived by her daughters Paula (Russell) Parks of Flushing, MI and Sandra (Patrick Scheff) Marticio of Santa Fe, NM. Also surviving are her sister Nancy (Jean) Coote, dear friend, Trish Dewit, and numerous nieces and nephews.
