Frank P. Vincke
Age 71, of Chesaning, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at St. Mary’s of Saginaw.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 21, 2022 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at McGeehan Funeral Homes, Martin Chapel on Thursday, January 20th from 2:00pm to 8:00pm with a prayer service at 7:00pm. Visitation will also be held 10:00am Friday at church until the time of the Mass.
Frank was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 19, 1950 the son of Herman and Ilda (Emmendorfer) Vincke. He graduated in 1968 from St. Michael High School. He worked for General Motors for 32 years, retiring in 2000. Frank was also a lifelong farmer. He was an avid hunter and proudly showed all his deer photos. He enjoyed U of M football, planting his garden, and going for his nightly ride to check on his crops - you could set your watch by when you see him out. He also enjoyed driving his Shelby Mustang.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Melissa Vincke of Macomb Township and Melissa’s mom, Pam Vincke; Mother, Ilda Vincke; 11 siblings, Kathryn (Rex) Kingsbury, Susan (Andrew) Wendling, Keith (Nancy) Vincke, Lynn Vincke, Kraig (Angela) Vincke, Karen Vincke, Kevin (Vickie) Vincke, Randall (Tami) Vincke, Kurt Vincke, Jeffrey (Lori) Vincke and Gregg Vincke; Cousin and close friend, Tom Emmendorfer; Good friends, Mike and Linda Gerding; And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is predeceased by his father, Herman Vincke and nephew, Troy Vincke.
