Billy Royce Graham of Millington, MI and Punta Gorda, FL reached out and took the hand of his beloved wife, Pearl on Saturday, August 10th 2019 at home surrounded by his family. Billy was born in Whitwell, TN on August 9, 1934 to the late William and Leona (Layne) Graham. After high school he moved to the Flint area and worked for Hamady Brother’s grocery stores and then later became a union representative for the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 876. He married Pearl Genevieve Henshaw on May 27th, 1955. Bill enjoyed gardening, going to garage sales, and organizing his “treasures”. He loved his family, spending his winter in Florida, baseball, and fishing. He always had a cupboard full of treats for the grandkids…and himself. He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl, his parents, Pearl’s parents, a grandson, and a great-granddaughter. He is survived by his children, William “Pat” Graham of Flint, Sharon (Dan) Sutter of Almont, Karen (Terry) Aldrich of Chesaning, Debbie (Gary) TerBush of Fostoria, and Michael Graham (Dr Susan Sallach) of Midland, 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren: brothers Mike (Joan) Graham of Rome, GA, Pat (Christy) Graham of Whitwell, TN, Jack (Pat) Graham of Whitwell, TN, sisters Judy (Ron) Alred, Whitwell, TN, and Linda (Graham) Wright of Whitwell, TN . There will be a Memorial Service held on September 14th at 4:00 pm at Country Christian Church, 5677 N Lapeer Rd. North Branch, MI. A dinner will be served immediately following the service. |
