KENT, Rose (Daidone) - Of Grand Blanc, age 92, died Friday, March 23, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Father Robert Copeland officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 11am-3pm and 5-8pm Monday and 10am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Rose was born in Saginaw, Michigan on July 24, 1925 the daughter of the late Salvidore and Jennie Daidone and was a resident of Flint all of her life. She married Roy R. Kent on July 24, 1948 in Flint and he preceded her in death on September 10, 2009. She was a life member of VFW Post #4087 Auxiliary and the Italian Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her sons, Roy Lee and wife Chia of Grand Blanc, David Sal and wife Carla of Grand Blanc;
daughters, Jennie Lynn and husband John Hardacre of Grand Blanc, Ruby Marie and husband Gary Congdon of Fenton;
many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren;
brothers, Jasper and wife Arlene Daidone of Flushing, John and wife Nancy Daidone of Grand Blanc, Joseph and wife Shirley Daidone of Clio;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, grandson, Edward Roy and parents.
