Dorothy Mary Flory, formerly of Flushing, Michigan, died peacefully on Monday, June 2nd, 2025, at her home in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025 at St. Robert Catholic Church, 310 N Cherry St., Flushing. Family and friends are invited to a gathering following mass. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Monday, June 23rd at Rossell Funeral Home, 307 E Main Street, with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00pm. Visitation also from 10:00am on Tuesday at the church until the time of Mass.
Dorothy was born in Flint, Michigan on January 4, 1937, the daughter of late Lester Dell and Mary (Flader) Dell. A 1955 graduate of Flint Technical high School. She married Richard Louis Flory in Flint on October 4, 1958. Dorothy retired as an accountant from Delehanty Pontiac and was a longtime volunteer of Flushing Senior Center and AARP tax preparer. Dorothy enjoyed traveling with friends and family. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, crochet, gardening and baking.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Richard; sister Annette, her husband Terry Krelle; children, Linda Kuhn, Ben, Alan Flory his wife Kristen, David Flory, his wife Rachelle; grandchildren, Sarah Fossgreen, her husband Sean, Nathaniel Kuhn, his wife Madison; great grandchildren, Sierra and Savanna Fossgreen, Kegan, Claire and Drew Flory, Bennett Kuhn; nephew, Robert Krelle, his wife Meaghann, their children Ethan, Ben and Emma, Erica Reese, her husband Justin, their children Aria and Evelyn, Linda Kuepper, her husband Joe and their children Brianna and Riley.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Flory; and her brother Richard Dell.
