Russo, Bill "The Italian" - Age 82, of Grand Blanc, died September 20, 2018. Funeral services will be held 1PM Wednesday September 26, at New Life Christian Fellowship 2237 Reid Rd. Grand Blanc. Pastor Bob Roberts officiating. Visitation will be held 2-4PM and 6-8PM Monday and 3-8PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Visitation will also be held 12PM Wednesday until the time of service at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to New Life Christian Fellowship. Bill was born October 27, 1935 the son of Biagio and Maria (Pisa) Russo. He married Florajean Huyck on April 7, 1979 in Flint. Bill served his country proudly in the Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed golfing and racquetball. Bill was a car salesman for 45 years selling for Vern Parsell Buick and Patsy Lou Buick / GMC before retiring in 2013. He is survived by his wife, Jean of Grand Blanc; daughter, Kristina (Gary) Swick of Flushing; son, Nicholas (Elizabeth) Russo of Grand Blanc; grandsons, Gary Swick Jr., William Charles Swick, Dominic Joseph Russo; Brother, Charles Olivo of Bedford, Ohio. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Biagio Russo and Maria (Russo) Olivo; sister, Rosetta (DeDe) Harris. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
