IVY, LORETTA JANE – Of Burton, age 64, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 2-8pm Monday, April 13, 2026, and at 9am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Steven Bentley officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Loretta was born in Flint, Michigan on October 7, 1961, the daughter of the late Laurence and Ruth (Kitchin) Bentley.
She married Randall Ivy on November 17, 1989.
Loretta graduated from Flint Southwestern High School class of 1980. She enjoyed knitting, watching soap operas, playing bingo, and loved the Detroit Tigers, but her true passion was spending time with her family.
She worked at the Bendle Public Schools and the GISD for many years.
Surviving are her husband Randall; 2 sons Lee and wife Midori Ivy, Lance and wife Kimberly Ivy; 2 grandchildren, Natalia and Stella Ivy; 5 siblings, Lorraine (Jerry) Cox, Linda (Michael) Proteau, Steven (Laurie) Bentley, Cecil Bentley and Cora Mini; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Crystal Heil; in-laws Rex and Betty Ivy, brother-in-law Ron Ivy.
