Birch Run, MI

Beloved husband, father, brother and friend was greeted by his Heavenly Father and is now
rejoicing in the fullness of new life. Norman married Mary Lynn Monk on October 13, 1951 and they recently celebrated 68 years of marriage. Norman’s life was blessed with Mary being his lifelong love, friend and, for the past several years, his constant companion and caretaker.

Norman was a man of deep faith and believed in having a personal relationship with Jesus
Christ above all others. He attended Berean Baptist Church of Grand Blanc until he was
physically unable to do so. Norman had a great love of music and played guitar and wrote
songs. He enjoyed the outdoors, tinkering in his pole barn and he had a skill for fixing and
repairing anything his hands would touch. Norman retired in 1996 from GM after thirty one
years of service working as a Machinist. Norman was an innovator and could develop processes
to overcome just about any mechanical, automotive or building problem.

Besides his wife, Mary, he leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Julie (James) Mueller,
son, Paul Rosa and grandchildren Brandon Ellen, Dylan Rosa, Ashley (Mueller) Andrews and
Matthew Mueller and five great grandchildren. Also remaining are siblings Richard (Carol)
Rosa, Bonnie (Richard) Newman and Timothy Rosa along with many nieces and nephews.

Norman was predeceased by his son, Gary Lee Rosa, his father Lawrence Rosa, his mother Ova
Rosa and a brother, Larry Rosa.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Rev. Robert Dickie will officiate. Norman’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw, MI.

The family would like to express gratitude for love and care given by Covenant Hospice VNA of Saginaw. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Rescue Mission of Saginaw, Covenant VNA or St. Jude’s Hospital.
