Patricia (Pat) Berlin, with family by her side, went to be with her Lord on October 28, 2019. There, she was happily reunited with her husband Bob and joyfully greeted by her grandchildren Jenni and Evan. Her funeral service will be 3PM Friday November 1, 2019 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 10AM until the time of her service. Pat was born on October 5, 1936 the youngest child of Jay and Doris Emery. Pat graduated from Otisville High School where she played softball and basketball. On June 4, 1955 Pat married the love of her life Bob Berlin, together they celebrated nearly sixty-four years of marriage while raising five children. Pat worked diligently raising her five children and later worked helping others at the Caro Regional Center. Pat also kept active in her women’s bowling and softball leagues. Pat was a member of the Fostoria and then Otisville United Methodist Church. Pat loved music of all types and enjoyed going to concerts from Loretta Lynn to Bob Seger. Pat also loved to travel as she and Bob visited Germany, Hawaii, a family trip to Disney World and often to their cottage in northern Michigan. However, the biggest joy for Pat came from her family. Pat did not hardly ever miss an athletic, musical or any other event of her children or grandchildren. She was always there to cheer on her children and grandchildren and help the officials when they needed it. Pat is survived by her brother Gene (Yvonne) Emery, her children Tim (Sherry) Berlin, Leann Turner, Vicki Berlin, Carmen Berlin (Shelly Weslock), Scott Berlin (Bill Jones). Grandchildren Jacki (Brian) Northup, Elyse (Johnny) Hodgins, Matthew Berlin and great grandchildren Addy, Grayson, Aubrey, Brianna and Owen. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents and her grandchildren Evan Turner and Jenni (Berlin) Stepnak. |
