KELLAR, Patricia Jane. – of Linden, age 86, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Funeral services will be held 12PM Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Westside Church, 5090 Pasadena Ave., Flushing, MI 48433. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 12PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westside Church or Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
Pat was a devoted wife and mother and dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and her husband, John “Jack” divided their time between Michigan and Arizona. Pat enjoyed both her church families and will be fondly remembered at Westside Church for her beautiful smile as a greeter. She loved both bluegrass and gospel music and had many friends in those areas.
Pat is survived by her husband: Jack Kellar; Children: Barbara (Andrew) Young, Diane (Scott) Maidment, and Dale Slawson; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; Sisters: Valerie, and Eleanor; Brothers: Raymond, Robert, and Ernest Case. She was preceded in death by her parents; Late husband, Claude Slawson - for whom she was a devoted caregiver at the end of his life.
