Patricia Ann Andres
Age 77 of Maple Grove died on September 23, 2021 at her home. She was surrounded by family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 27, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Albee. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will take place at McGeehan Funeral Homes Martin Chapel on Saturday, September 25th from 6:00 to 8:00pm and on Sunday, September 26th from 11:00am to 6:00pm, with a Vigil service held at 5:00pm Sunday.
Pat was born on March 26, 1944 to Gale and Linda (Kuck) Mosey and raised in Montrose, Michigan. She met her husband, Gordon Andres, and was married April 24, 1964. Together they raised 3 children. Pat earned her Associate's degree from Delta College.
Pat was an active member of St. Michael's Church of Maple Grove and had the heart of a servant. She was a befriender and a Eucharistic minister in her church. Many people will remember her as their fourth grade religion teacher, Taymouth Township Senior Center Director, or a secretary at various places.
After the death of her husband in 2003, she started a widow's group to support other women going through the same event. She was the first person to send a card when people were sick, remember an anniversary, or just say hello.
Patricia's greatest accomplishment was her family. She is survived by three children, Patrick (Laura) Andres, Cindy (Dave) Gillie, and Mary Andres; 10 grandchildren, Aaron (Kevin) Hemgesberg, Adam Hemgesberg, Kyle Gillie, Rachel Andres, Maggie Andres, Theresa (Bryant) Boulton, Livi and Tim Gilbert, and Ally and Lexy Andres; and her brother, Bryce (Thom) Andres.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Andres; her grandson, Glenn Gillie; her parents, Gale and Linda; and her step-mother, Anne.
She was blessed with many lifelong friends and a community that supported her, sharing Saturday morning breakfasts and evening meals, sending cards, and sitting with her when she was sick. The family is eternally grateful for all these wonderful people.
