LARKIN, Evelyn – Of Millington, age 90, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Valley Grande Manor Nursing Home in Texas.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 at the
Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Tom Shidler officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to Children’s Ministry of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Evelyn was born in Gladwin, Michigan, the daughter of William and Ethel (Moore) Rex.
She was an avid knitter and crocheter.
Evelyn was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She liked to travel and enjoyed being with her family.
Mrs. Larkin was employed by AC Spark Plug Division for 32 years.
Surviving are son, Daniel (Shirley) Larkin;
daughter, Helen (Don) Bartle;
grandchildren, Greg, Rick and wife Roz, Heidi and fiance’ James, Holly and husband Jason;
great-grandchildren, Hunter, Maddie, Morgan, Ashlee, Blaine, Clarice and Camellia.
She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
