KELTNER, Rick Wayne – Of Flint, age 67, died Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Pastor Morris Moos officiating.
Visitation 2-8pm Tuesday and 10am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Great Lakes Burn Camp. glbcforkids.org
Rick was born in Flint, Michigan on March 14, 1958, the son of the late LeRoy and Phyllis (Maples) Keltner. He was a volunteer for the Flint Township Fire Department for 20 years and volunteered for many years at the Great Lakes Burn Camp. Rick enjoyed mowing the lawn, watching the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions, traveling to Arizona to visit his son, and attending his grandchildren’s activities. Rick worked for the family automotive collision business for over 40 years.
Surviving are companion of 54 years, Carol Crocker;
children, Dan Keltner, Matt (Drianna) Keltner, Rachel (Robert) Edenburn;
grandchildren, Owen and Elliott Keltner, Alyssa Hotaling, Evelyn, Lillian, Adeline and Mabel Edenburn;
brothers, Jim (Marvel) Keltner and Randy (Patty) Keltner;
nieces, Courtney (Chris) Elwart, Stephanie Keltner, Andrea Keltner and Lisa Keltner;
nephew, Jay Keltner; Lifelong friend, Wayne (Cheryl) Barres;
and his two fur babies, Roxy and Walter.
