Paul T. Conrad age 86 of Bancroft, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the Durand Senior Care and Rehab Center. A funeral service will be 2:00 PM on Monday, June 9, 2025 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. Burial will follow to Fremont Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
Paul Truman Conrad was born October 6, 1938 in Durand, a son of Ward and Nellie (Rose) Conrad. On June 14, 1958 he married Donna Townsend. Paul enjoyed woodworking, fishing, riding on quads, playing cards, digging for gold in Arizona, spending time outdoors, dancing and his dogs. Prior to his retirement he worked for General Motors for over 33 years.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Teresa (John) Chadwell; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Conrad; daughters, Penny Smith, Barb Winer and Pam Conrad; and brother, Dewey Conrad.
