KRAEMER, MARK T. – Of Flushing, age 67, died Monday, July 31, 2023 at University Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023
at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 2245 East Baldwin Road, Grand Blanc, Father Peter Bistolarides officiating.
Entombment at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Natalia Kraemer for an educational fund for Katarina.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday at the church with a Trisagion Service at 6 p.m. at the church.
Mark was born in Flint, Michigan on November 10, 1955, the son of Robert and Audrey (Cornell) Kraemer.
On May 8, 1982, he married Sandra Bachakes in Flint.
He was a member of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
As a devout Christian, Mark lived and followed his beliefs. When asked if he could volunteer he always said “anything you need, I’m there.”
His many Assumption volunteer activities included, Catholic charities, the Eastern Michigan Food Bank, the Greek Festival, the Friday Fish Fry, the Annual Golf Outing and the Greek Independence Day Parade.
He was very involved in the Flint swim and racquetball.
Mark was an avid champion of his children, and was a continual loving support for them.
Mark was an alumni of Powers High School. He officiated for local football and basketball games and loved to golf.
Surviving are children, Natalia Kraemer of Flint,
Kyle Constantine of Flushing and
Katarina Adaline of Flushing;
mother, Audrey Kraemer of Grand Blanc;
brothers, Brad and wife Peggy Kraemer, Todd and wife Jann Kraemer, all of Grand Blanc;
sister, Sharon Cox of Gaines;
many special nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra and father, Robert.
