RICHARDSON, Valorie Kay - Age 71, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 22, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home Thursday from 4-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Kimberly Oaks Home, 5279 Jennings Road, Flint, MI 48504.
Valorie was born October 18, 1948 in Metamora Township, the daughter of Kenneth and Genevieve (Moul) Dow. She was a graduate of Davison High School. She married Charles Henry Richardson February 21, 1964 in Flint and he preceded her in death July 28, 2018. Valorie had resided in Swartz Creek for the past 40 years coming from Burton. She had cared for her daughter, Jennifer until she absolutely couldn't anymore.
Surviving are: daughter, Tammy Ryal (Robbie Tucker) of Swartz Creek, Brad (Ginger) Richardson of Ohio, and Jennifer Richardson of Flint; grandchildren, Nicole Ryal (Kenny Klemkow), Andrew Ryal, Zachary and Noah Richardson; sisters, Barbara (Jim) Ramsey of Flint and Laura (Dean) Meisegeier of Swartz Creek; brother, Kendall Dow of Flint; life long friend, Cindy Baker; and several nieces and nephews.
