WILLIAMS, Carol – of Davison, age 87, passed away on October 8, 2023. A Private Funeral Service will be held. Interment will take place in Smith Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Richfield Church of the Nazarene.
Carol was born on October 19, 1935, in Martinsville, Indiana, to her parents Walter and Florence (Cooper) Thacker. She married Luther Williams in 1952, and sadly, he passed away on February 6, 2013.
Carol was known for her passion for knitting and her generosity in donating more than 150 hats to the military. Her dedication to crafting extended to cake making and decorating, which she pursued for many years, creating a wide variety of beautifully decorated cakes. Carol's talents and her contributions to both the military and the world of cake decorating reflect her caring and creative nature. She fought a fierce battle with breast cancer for 5 years. Carol spent many hours tending her garden, feeding the birds and taking care of her cat. Carol was passionate about her love for her Lord and Savior.
Carol is survived by her children, Karan (Dale) Jenkins, David (Paula) Williams; grandchildren, Dustin Jenkins, Josh Williams and Brandi Smith; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Rike; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her sons, Luther Williams, Jr. and Robert Williams; grandson, Jason Jenkins.
