DANIEL, Eva J. – Of Flint, age 84, died Sunday, January 24, 2016
at her daughter’s home, with her loving family by her side.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Kevin Zaborney officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to FIA Youth Programs, GCCARD –Meals on Wheels.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 12 p.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Eva was born in Flint, Michigan on July 20, 1931, the daughter of the late Willard and Edna Thomas.
On October 2, 1965 she married Donald Daniel in Flint.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
Eva loved painting, gardening, quilting and playing with her grandchildren.
She was a gentle, kind, caring and loving woman, devoted wife, mother and grandma. Eva cherished the time she spent with her husband in Charlevoix, in celebration of their anniversary every year.
Mrs. Daniel retired as Hudsons Store Auditor after 25 years.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Bill (Barbara) Attaway,
Beth (Tom) Peterson,
Debbie (Kraig) Sippell;
grandchildren, Heidi, Erica, Kirsten, Jack and Tori;
great-grandchildren, Adina, Logan, Kennedy, Savannah and Finley;
great-great-granddaughter, Aubrey;
brother, Earl Thomas;
sister, Arlene (Ted) Woodward;
many nieces, nephews;
Godchildren, Michelle and Allison
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, on October 8, 2011 and sister, Virginia LaDuke.
