Vicki Ann Herington, born on July 7, 1949, passed away on June 14, 2026, leaving behind a life marked by love, hard work, generosity, and a warm sense of humor that touched everyone who knew her.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy came from the people she loved and the life she built around them. Vicki is survived by her children, Scott Dann, Jeff Dann and his wife Vanesa, Darren Herington and his wife Amber, and Patricia Snyder and her husband Paul. She also leaves behind her brother, Rick Kilpatrick and his wife Cheryl, as well as her grandchildren, Logan, Cullen, and Abigail, who brought her great pride and happiness. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Norm, and her brother Randy.
Vicki spent many years as a hardworking business owner, proudly owning and operating her own housecleaning service. Her work reflected the same care and dedication she showed in every part of her life. She believed in doing things well, in helping others, and in taking pride in honest work. Her strong work ethic and dependable nature earned her the respect of those around her and made her a trusted presence in her community.
She was also an active and valued member of the Lapeer Moose Lodge #2433 and the Lapeer Eagles Club #2427. Through these associations, Vicki formed lasting friendships and enjoyed the fellowship that came from being involved and engaged with others. She appreciated time spent with friends and neighbors, and she was always willing to lend a hand or share a laugh.
Vicki was known for being loving, funny, and generous. These qualities were evident in the way she cared for her family, the way she welcomed others, and the way she carried herself through life. She had a kind heart and a spirited personality, and she could brighten a room with her presence. Her sense of humor was one of her many gifts, and those who knew her will remember the joy she brought to ordinary moments.
In her free time, Vicki enjoyed volunteering, cleaning, tending to her flower beds, and playing Left Right Center. She found satisfaction in staying active and in making the spaces around her beautiful and welcoming. Her volunteer work reflected her giving nature, and her hobbies brought her both peace and enjoyment. She valued simple pleasures and found happiness in the routines and activities that filled her days.
Cremation has taken place and celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions in memory of Vicki may be made to the Lapeer Eagles Club.
