MAUCK, William L. - Of Burton, age 88, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Davison Assembly of God, 1234 S. Gale Road, Davison, MI 48423.
Son, Kenny Mauck and Pastor Morris Moos officiating.
Burial in Christ Church Memorial Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee.
Visitation 11am-8pm Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 11am Thursday at church until the time of the service.

William was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on July 24, 1932 the son of the late William and Tessie (Frazier) Mauck. He married the love of his life, Melonee (Nichols) and they were married for 66 years. Lou attended McNeese College in Lake Charles, Louisiana and studied Music. He was the Choir Director for many years at Faith Tabernacle Church of Burton, MI. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict and was stationed at Tripler Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was owner of Genesee Fabrics stores in Flint, MI.
He retired from General Motors, Turnstedt GM Plant-as Skilled Tradesman and was a member of UAW Local 326. After retirement, he was the Facility Director for LifeCare Family Services, Nashville, TN. He was a member of Davison Assembly of God Church and served God all his life. Lou loved his family and made friends with everyone he encountered! His final resting place will be in Nashville, TN Christ Church Memorial Gardens Cemetery A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 5:30pm - 8:00 pm at Christ Church Wallace Chappell, 15354 Old Hickory Blvd. Nashville, TN US.
Surviving are wife, Melonee;
Children, Candy (Brad) Rainwater, Grand Blanc, MI, Kenny (Raye Ann) Mauck, Arrington, TN and Tammy Larson, Murfreesboro, TN;
7 Grandchildren, Nic Rainwater, Ryan (Katie) Rainwater, Vicki (Brian) Barella, Landon (Brittany) Mauck, Megan (Michael) Hinson,
Kelsey (Jonathan) Nance, Vivian (Kevin) Oyler;
14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews;
siblings, Cindy Murphy, Jerry Swanger, Lynn Mauck and Laane Mauck Hocquard;
and dear friends, Don & Barb Evans and Brenda & Ray Fritz.
He was preceded in death by parents, William & Tessa Mauck and sister, Jolene Gardner.
