Anna M. Bowles peacefully passed into the arms of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, on September 17, 2021 at her home in Lockwood of Genesee at the age of 74. Anna was in hospice suffering from many health issues.
Anna was born to Ivan and Kathryn (Theodore) Giles on June 2, 1947 in Flint. She graduated from Northwestern High School and worked for various businesses in the Flint area as a sales clerk. Anna was a long time member of Mundy Presbyterian Church and loved her church family. She loved country music and visited many local venues that played live music.
Anna is survived by her mother, Kathryn Giles, her sister and brother-in-law, Nola (Nikki) and Randy English, her brother and sister-in law, Ken and Gretchen Giles as well as various other relatives, She was especially close to her niece Eos Knepshield.
Anna will be laid to rest on Thursday, September 23, 2021 with a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. At Flint Memorial Park Cemetery located at 9506 North Dort Highway, Mt. Morris Mi 48458, Pastor Jeff Jaggers officiating. The family requests all attending to wear facial masks to protect the fragile health of Kathryn. All attending will meet at the office parking lots at the cemetery to follow the hearse to the burial site.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Munday Presbyterian Church, 3596 West Grand Blanc Rd., Swartz Creek Mi 48473 or the Salvation Army – Flint Citadel, 211 West Kearsly Street, Flint, MI 48502
