GARROW, Mary – of Columbiaville, age 70, passed away March 4, 2018 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor John Kaiser officiating. Visitation will be 12-2 PM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesys/Hurley Cancer Institute Patient Care Fund.
Mary was born in Flint, MI on October 31, 1947, daughter of the late Orlum “Roxy” and Jane (Gidley) Winton. She married George Garrow on May 19, 1994 at the courthouse in Lapeer. Mary was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders, the Davison Evening Star Quilt Guild and the Nimble Thimbles quilt group. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Mary is survived by her husband, George; children, James Scott (Karry) Smith, Jessica (Todd) Brown; grandchildren, Mitch, Maddi, Megan, Leigha, Carlyle, Cassandra, Cera, George, Jesse and Kati; 10 great grandchildren; brother, James (Bert) Winton; sister-in-law, Linda Winton; many special friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Winton; step children, Patti, Kathy and George.
