NELLETT, Ronald – of Davison, Michigan, age 83, passed away on October 20, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Robert D. Taylor officiating. Interment will take place following the service at Davison Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 4-7 PM and again on Tuesday from 11 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

Ronald was born in Flint, Michigan on October 4, 1942, son of the late Elmer and Goldie (Wynne) Nellett. He married Susan Thomas on December 28, 1963, in Flint, Michigan. Ron proudly served in the U.S. Army as an image interpreter, earning an honorary discharge for intelligence he provided to the General regarding the Tet Offensive.
A dedicated barber in Flint for over 60 years, Ronald owned the Downtown Barber Shop and, most recently, the Capitol Barber Shop. He was a well-respected member of the downtown community who truly loved his work, his clients, and continued cutting hair until just two weeks before his passing. Ron enjoyed traveling, spending time in Arizona with his beloved wife, Susan, and relaxing at the lake in Lupton. One of his greatest joys was fishing with his granddaughter, Adrianna.

Ronald is survived by loving wife, Susan Nellett; son, Arthur (Candice) Nellett; granddaughter, Adrianna Nellett; many other loving family members and friends.
