CHASE, Christina E. – Of Flint, age 94, died Friday, June 20, 2025, at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Pastor Darrell Bailey and Pastor Kevin Galloway II co-officiating.
Visitation 11am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Christina was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on June 15, 1931, the daughter of the late John and Donna (Roberts) Hempton. Christina married Charles Chase and he preceded her in death in 1999. She was a member of NTC for 23 years. Christina loved her church community and was very active in her church groups. She loved to read and watch talent shows on television. Above all else, Christina loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are children, Darlene (Steven) Ekhardt, Ronald (Della) Hoffman and Del (Jennifer) Chase;
5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her nine brothers and sisters.
