Glandon, Dessie Arnetta - Age 86, of Mt. Morris, died January 16, 2024. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, January 24 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. (The funeral service may be viewed by livestream at Mrs. Glandon's page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.) Interment to follow at 2:30 PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 N. Belford Rd. Holly. Visitation will be held 10 AM Wednesday January 24 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Alzheimer's Association. Dessie was born October 10, 1937 in Cuzzy, WV, the daughter of Earl and Mary Thelma (Sanders) Manns. She grew up in Lincoln County, WV. before moving to Flint. Dessie married Paul Gene Glandon on April 7, 1959 he preceded her in death on February 24, 2015. She enjoyed playing bingo and casinos. Dessie is survived by her children, Billy (Melissa) Glandon of Flint, Pamela Hart of Mt. Morris; grandchildren, Paul (Ivette) Hart of Arizona, Tiffany (Matt) Webster of Flint, Karinna Glandon (Tyler) of Flint; great-grandchildren, Dominique (Manny), Summer (Colten), Hannah, Aaron, Logan, Haley, and Oenomaus; great-great-grandchildren, Ellyana, Madyson, Paytonn and Caleigh; siblings, Verlin Manns, Daryl Manns, and Julie Booth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mary Thelma (Sanders) Manns; brothers, Vernon and Boyd; sisters, Karen and Janice; son-in-law, Kenny.
