Kenneth George Tomasek, age 75, passed away at his residence on July 30, 2026.
Kenneth was born on July 15, 1951, in Owosso, Michigan, the son of John and Dorothy Tomasek. On November 23, 1973, he married his wife Christine at St. John’s Church in Fenton, Michigan. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and many cherished memories.
Kenneth enjoyed golfing, gardening, coaching basketball and softball, watching sports, woodworking, and, most of all, spending time with his family. He was a member of St. John’s in Fenton.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Christine Tomasek; his children, Scott and his wife, Alisa Tomasek, of Fenton Township; Kyle and his wife, Samantha Tomasek, of Wixom; and Kelly Stevenson and her husband, Zachary of Grand Blanc Township; his grandchildren, Elliot Stevenson, Phillip Tomasek, and Jude Stevenson; and his siblings, Marie, Evelyn, Rita, Bob, Lorraine, Vivian, Bill, and Ed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Tomasek, and his brother, John.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 6, with the memorial service taking place at 2:00 p.m. at Swartz Funeral Home.
Those wishing to honor Kenneth’s memory may make memorial contributions to the University of Michigan Brain Bank.
Kenneth will be remembered for his love of family, the joy he found in the things he loved to do, and the many memories he created with those closest to him. His presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
