ZOFCHAK Jr., Michael – age 97, passed away on March 2, 2018 in Flushing, Michigan. The "40th Day Remembrance" of Michael Zofchak will be celebrated with the St. Michael 5 p.m. Divine Liturgy on Saturday April 28 – 2333 Elms Road, Flushing, Michigan Michael was born on March 17, 2018 in Flint, Michigan to the late Michael and Elizabeth (Lazar) Zofchak. He graduated from Northern High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy during WWII stationed in Pearl Harbor. Michael worked for GM for over 30 years in the Buick Motor division. He enjoyed every moment hunting and fishing with his brothers and nephews. Michael was a wonderful, compassionate, loving man that will be deeply missed. He is survived by his siblings: Joseph (Mary) Zofchak, Paul (Marion) Zofchak, Irene Jedlowski, Helen Zofchak; and several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings: John Zofchak, George Zofchak, Mary Pavlich, Liz Bialkowsick, Ann Monville, and Steven Zofchak.
