WELCH, Frances Elsie - Age 95, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Frances was born in Mundy Township on August 21, 1924 the daughter of Elmer E. and Clarinda (Burnham) Vincent. Frances married Wilfred Seguin on March 17, 1943 in Durand and he preceded her in death in 1966. She later married William S. Welch Jr. on July 17, 1971 in Swartz Creek and he preceded her in death on July 19, 1997. Frances was an avid bowler, bowling in national and state tournaments. She also enjoyed family gatherings, playing bingo and euchre. Frances retired as a bus driver with the Swartz Creek School System for 33 years. She was a member of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, a Troop leader for Girl Scouts and Boy Scout of America, member of the Reid Road Club and area square dancing groups. Surviving are: daughter, Rosemary Seguin- Willard of Swartz Creek; son, Wilfred (Janice) Seguin of Gaines; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Arlene Meyers of Durand, Shirley Beckwith of Fenton and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son, John Seguin; siblings, John Vincent, Lawrence Vincent, Elaine Peirson, Elmer Vincent, Dick Vincent and Mary Morton.
