JONES, Patricia, age 83, died Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Genesee Gardens. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 12 at North Baptist Church in Flint. Pastor Harold Burkholder will officiate. Burial to follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be at church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made ot North Baptist Church.
Patricia was born in Flushing, Michigan on December 26, 1935, the daughter of Ira and Ursle (Hogsten) Jones. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College and later her Master’s Degree from University of Michigan. From 1987 until 2017, she owned Jones Counseling and worked for 21 years at Mt. Morris Schools as a Counselor. Patricia was a longtime member at North Baptist Church where she played the organ for over 25 years.
Patricia is survived by her second cousins, Dana Fleming, Debi Wright, Paula Tudor, Greg Rowe; first cousins, Linda and Dave TerBurgh, Robert Plass, Rev. Robert Ramseyer, Leland Rincker, Janice and Duane Carlyle; special friends, Norma Jean Clark, Ursula and Erwin Kunkel, Shirley and Dell Berry, Dell and Donna Beemer. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rev. Burton Jones. |
