COLE, Marlene – Of Flint, age 89, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 at her residence.
Marlene was born in Sault St. Marie, Michigan on November 9, 1936, the daughter of the late Martin and Bertha (Villo) Haley. She graduated from Sault St. Marie High School, Class of 1955. She married Francis E. Limmer on August 19, 1979. Marlene worked for many years in the real estate business. In 1981, she was the co-founder of GY&T Communications, an interconnect company, which she sold in 1996. She started a craft business which resulted in her exhibiting in Florida, Ohio and Michigan. Marlene retired for good in 2016.
Surviving are husband, Francis Limmer;
Son, Frederick L. Cole II;
Brothers, Patrick (Cindy) Haley and Thomas (Mike) Haley
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Frederick Haley and son Tracy M. Cole.
Cremation has taken place and burial will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
