WHITE, Alice Mary (Buckler) – of Davison, MI, age 89, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery; Pastor Kristen LePalm officiating. The family will receive visitors 12-2 PM Monday, May 12, 2025 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423.
Alice was born in Riverside, Ontario, Canada on December 18, 1935, daughter of the late Harry and Jane (Tweedie) Buckler. Alice's legacy is one of love, grace, and an enduring commitment to the well-being of others. She married the love of her life, Bryce D. White, on January 5, 1952, in Mount Clemens, MI. Together, they shared 55 years of devotion and joy before Bryce's passing in 2007. Alice was a dedicated member of Richfield United Methodist Church, where she served faithfully on various committees. Her commitment to her faith extended beyond the church doors, and she touched countless lives with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support. A proud member of the Davison Chapter # 299, Order of the Eastern Star, Alice held the title of Past Matron and was a life member. Her service to the chapter was profound, having served on the Grand Chapter Committee three times, and being honored as a Grand Representative of Florida. Alice’s compassion and leadership within the organization will long be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Alice’s spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who loved her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness.
Alice is survived by 3 children, Bryce M. (Cindy) White, Alice J. White and Duwayne S. White; 3 grandchildren; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Jane Buckler; devoted and loving husband of 55 years, Bryce D. White; 6 siblings.
