INGHAM, Leland – of Columbiaville, age 88 years, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Brian Johnson officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. The family will welcome visitors from 12-7 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the funeral home. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday.
Leland Dewayne Ingham was born in Flint on January 26, 1938, son of the late Lawrence and Annie (Foster) Ingham. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1956 until 1958, but he then served 8 years with the Reserves. Lee married Violet Sheppard May 29, 1959; she survives him. He was proud to be the first to graduate college in his family, obtaining his degree in mechanical engineering. Lee worked for Buick for many years before venturing on his own to start multiple businesses including Leisure Town, Inc. and Creative Leisure, Inc. He was a great outdoorsman, often spending time on the water, hunting or fishing. If Lee wasn’t found camping, he could be found at the casino. His greatest joy was found in spending time with his family.
Lee is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Violet Ingham; three children, Darlene (Karl) Teeter, Pamela (Larry) Riley, Leon (Candace) Ingham; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Leland was preceded in death by his daughter, Deanna Lynn Connelly.
