Barbara Faye Daniels, age 91, of Flint, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Barbara was born on November 25, 1934, in Flint, the daughter of the late James and Sarah (Bonnell) Blewett. She was a graduate of Flint Technical High School. Barbara began her career as a teacher’s aide at Cody Elementary School in Flint. She later worked as a leasing manager for several senior living communities, where she deeply cherished her residents and took pride in her work.
Barbara was an exceptional cook and especially enjoyed baking. Her hobbies included reading and crocheting. She loved to travel and treasured spending time with her family above all else. Barbara was a devoted member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Otisville for many years.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura Cummings and Lisa (Craig) Nelson; grandchildren, Sara (Greg) Edwards, Jessica Nelson, and Robert Nelson; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Greene, Jessica Edwards, and Jennifer (Mitch) Glauser, seven great great-grandchildren; Landon, Addy, Bentley, Mason, Ava, Aubree and Harper. sister-in-law, Margaret Blewett; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Ronald Daniels; longtime partner, Patrick Keller; brother, James Blewett; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Fran Daniels; and nieces, Michelle Fedewa and Melissa Moulliet.
