WARD, Alicia Lorain - Of Corunna, age 66, died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Pastor Mark Fernandez officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Durand Church of God Children’s Ministry.
Visitation 2-8pm Thursday and 12pm Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Alicia was born in Flint on October 15, 1953. On July 15, 1972, she married Ronald Ward in Flint. Alicia retired from McLaren-Flint after serving for 38 years. She enjoyed word search puzzles and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Alicia was a member of Durand Church of God.
Surviving are husband, Ron;
Daughters, Tamara (Carl) Pier and Marcia Ward;
Grandchildren, Conner and Madeline;
Siblings, David Baize, Mike Baize, Tony Baize, Donnie Werden, Pam Baize, Pat Leger, Pam Morningstar, Peggy Martin, and Mari Andersen;
Parents, Wayne Baize and Louise Werden;
And many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Don Werden, sisters, Rita Sutherland, Teresa Frost and mother, Joy Baize.
