OWENS, Diana – of Montrose, age 73, died unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Funeral service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Wally Rose officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
Diana was born on October 16, 1952, in Flint, to the late Marvin and Doris (Walter) Fellows. She married her beloved husband, Thomas, on November 6, 1968, and together they shared 25 years of marriage before his passing in 1993. Diana was a creative and crafty woman who found great joy in making jewelry, collecting crafting supplies, and visiting local auctions. She liked shopping, especially when she could find a good deal online, and in her younger years, she enjoyed spending time at the bowling alley with family and friends. Diana was known for her quick wit, playful sense of humor, and ability to make those around her laugh. Above all else, Diana cherished her family and treasured every moment spent with them.
Diana is forever loved by: Daughters: Candy Marie (Sherman) Owens and Toni Leann (Greg) Larkin; Grandchildren: Shelbie (Justin) De La Garza, Brittnie (Tyler) Bonter, Tony (Kristi) Crane, and Danielle (Bryan) Hasho; 10 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: James (Neva) Fellows and Mamie Webb; Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Diana was preceded in death by: Husband, Thomas; Parents, Marvin and Doris; Siblings: Donald, Marlene, Carol, Robert, Beverly, David, Gloria, and Rebecca. |
