Audrey was born on January 20, 1932 in Owosso, the daughter of Clare and E. Gail (Boyd) Kline.
She graduated from Owosso High School in 1950.
She married her high school love, David E. Koterba in Owosso, Michigan at St. Joseph Catholic Church on February 3rd, 1958.
Audrey was a working at home mother raising her children, gardening and canning for her family in the summer, and seamstress making clothes for her children. As the children grew older - became a 4-H leader with her neighbor Sally Pajtas and helped begin the 4-H dog program in Shiawassee County. She was a 4-H leader for 25 years before passing the leadership to one of her children. Audrey always had a great love of animals - dogs or cats. As she grew older in life, Rocky their Cocker Spaniel kept her and David company and after David and Rocky passed, a little poodle mix named Teddy was her constant companion keeping Audrey in line indicating when she should go to bed and wake up in the morning to start their day. She had a love for doing word search puzzles, going out to eat with her family and enjoying a Long Island beverage.
She is survived by her children, Cathy Wentz, Janice (Carl) Wentz, Cheryl (Bill) Barton, Edward (Tammi) Koterba, and Paula (Jeff) Reiber and her beloved dog Teddy; several grandchildren Adam Wentz (Terry Sloan), Monica Wentz (Chris Smith), Carl D.
