HOUCK, Dale Edward - Age 65, of Swartz Creek, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Dale's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Jim Nelson officiating. Burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 9 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Dale was born December 30, 1959 in Lapeer, the son of Harold Frank and Margie Lee (Brown) Houck. He was a 1977 graduate of Swartz Creek High School. He married Leia de Almeida Rodrigues January 2, 2000 in Brazil. He had resided in Swartz Creek most of his life. Dale was employed by Thompson IG in Fenton. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, and he was a part of the Eagle Boy Scout Community. He enjoyed playing video games, watching movies and spending time with his family.
Surviving are: his wife, Leia; children, Anastacia Guimaraes Houck, Holly Ann (David) Guimaraes Houck, Naiara Kimberly Melo Houck, Daniel Edward Houck and Dale Harold Houck; grandson, Davi; brothers, Robert (Tonya) Houck and James Houck; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Margie Houck; and brother, Daniel Michael Houck. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
