HANNERS, Daniel - Of Flint, age 86, died Thursday, July 15, 2021.
Cremation will take place. There will be a private service to be held at a later date.
Daniel was born in Hornersville, Missouri on August 25, 1934, the son of the late Floyd and Agnes (Brewer) Hanners. On November 14, 1953, he married Virgie Mayberry of Hornersville. He attended Bearing Cross Baptist Church. He worked for General Motors Truck and Bus and retired in 1976.
Surviving are his 5 children, Daniel Jr. (Beverly), Stan, Glen, Reahlynn Hope and Kathryn (Robert) Pepin;
16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren with another 2 great-children coming in July and November of this year. Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Jeff and Drew, his brother Richard Hanners, infant brother, Drew, sisters Betty Asher, Bernice Hillhouse, and Nola Pitici. Sister-In-Law Wilma Prosser and his beloved wife Virgie Hanners.
