Clarence "Clare" LaFave- age 56 passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Clarence was born on May 13, 1957 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Clarence and Viola (Beebe) LaFave. He was a graduate of Byron High School. He was married on March 18, 1996 to Darcy Gohn. Clarence was a member of the Men’s Club at Lake of the Pines. He is survived by his wife Darcy, son Jacob LaFave of Battle Creek, three grandchildren; brothers David LaFave of Davison, Ronald LaFave of Lake Ann, Richard, Michael, Kurt, and Dennis LaFave all of Bancroft; sisters Debra Clermount of FL., Barbara LaFave of Bancroft, and Theresa Harvey of Fowlerville and numerous nieces and nephews and relatives from the Gohn side. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Patricia Brewer and Sandra Raymond. A memorial service is planned for May 17th, 2014 at 3PM.It will be held at Van Agen Sod & Tree Farm in Bancroft MI.
