Age 83 of Corunna passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes, Owosso Chapel with Pastor James Bare officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5pm to 8pm.
Elwyn was born June 6, 1934 in Shiawassee County, the son of Raymond and Zelma (Cords) Fowler.
He attended Owosso Schools and served in the United States Army.
Elwyn was a member of the VFW in Corunna, American Legion in Elsie and Eagles Club of Owosso.
He married Marie Curtis at Salem Lutheran Church on July 11, 1980.
Elwyn retired from Eaton Manufacturing and Midland Ross.
Elwyn is survived by his wife Marie; children George (Janet) Mowl, James (Tammy) Mowl and Yvonne Mowl; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; other loving family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his son Shanneon Mowl and his parents and siblings.
